One Color Subway Map

One Color Subway Map

Brooklyn-based designers David Heasty and Stefanie Weigler of Triboro Design have produced a variation of the New York City subway map that is printed in a single color: Florescent red. While the single color completely destroys the familiar color-coding, somehow the map still works. Offset printed in a limited edition run of only 300 pieces, the poster is the exact same size as the MTA Subway maps that are located at entrances to New York Subway stations.

Hours of Light
Hours of Dark

Light & Dark is a beautiful print series by Accept & Proceed that is available at Blanka. Light & Dark depicts the hours of light, dark and astronomical twilight in the UK. The gradient is a visualization of the rate at which the earth lightens up sunrise through to sunset. Simply wonderful.
